I always knew that someday I wanted to be a photographer but it wasn't until the fall of 2008 that I seriously pursued my passion of photography. I enrolled at Hallmark Institute of Photography in western Massachusetts, learning the ins and outs of photography and running a business. After college I worked for 2 years in New York City, while I missed my Midwest ties I then decided It was time to come back and start my own studio. I opened my doors in the fall of 2010 and have photographed hundreds of weddings in the past 5 years. I could not be more thankful and blessed to do what I love every single day!
I photograph weddings because I love the simple moments of love. The anticipation and excitement of a bustling morning, as you prepare for the biggest day of your life. Seeing your husband for the first time that day all you can think of is how thankful you are that God has placed him in your life! Capturing the last look from your father as he squeezes your arm with pride before you walk toward your husband to be. The tear in your mothers eye as she watches you and father walk down the isle praying that you will enjoy many years of the same love that they share. Your grandparents holding hands in the front row as a testament to 50 years of marriage, handwork and joy. The flower girls twirling in their dresses, giggling and throwing petals as they feel like princesses. And the overwhelming peace that falls over you, as you feel your husbands embrace and dance for the first time as husband and wife.
I cherish these moments from the day I married the love of my life and I take great pride and preserving these moments for you to look back on for years to come!
